Terms
Terms of service
The agreement between you and Amantrit when you publish an invitation. Written to be read, not to be survived.

1. Who this agreement is with
These terms are between you and Harsh Kathpal, trading as Amantrit (“we”, “us”). They apply from the moment you create an account or publish an invitation. Indian law applies, and the courts of City is currently unavailable have jurisdiction.
2. What you are buying
A hosted invitation, live for a stated number of months. Each design shows its price and the months online that price includes, before you personalise it. That is the whole product: a web page at a link of its own, which your guests can open, RSVP on and leave blessings on, for the stated term.
One price. Nothing is added at checkout. Additional sections, a longer term, or a different edition of the same design (such as a save-the-date) are priced separately and shown to you in the editor before you commit to them.
You are not buying a licence to the artwork, a print-ready file, the source code, or an invitation you can host elsewhere. You are buying it published, by us, for the term.
3. Payment and going live
Payment is by UPI. You pay the stated amount, quoting the reference we give you, and send us the transaction number (UTR) and a screenshot. We check that the money arrived and then publish your invitation. Timings, and what happens if a payment cannot be matched, are on the delivery and approval page.
Your invitation is not live until we have confirmed the payment. Until then it exists, you can preview it, and its link does not work for guests.
4. Your content stays yours
The names, words, dates and photographs you put into your invitation remain entirely yours. We claim no ownership of them.
You give us only the permission we need to do the job: to store your content, to display it on your invitation, and to show it back to you in your dashboard. We do not use your invitation, your photographs or your guests' details in marketing — not on the homepage, not in a demo, not in a screenshot — unless you tell us in writing that we may.
You confirm that you have the right to use what you upload: that the photographs are yours or you have permission, and that the people in them are content to appear.
5. What you may not publish
Do not use Amantrit for any of the following.
- Anything unlawful under Indian law, or that incites someone else to break it.
- Someone else's photographs, artwork, music or text that you do not have the right to use.
- Another person's personal details published without their agreement, or an invitation impersonating a real person or family.
- Content that is obscene, harassing, or that attacks a person or a community on the basis of religion, caste, sex or origin.
- Anything that is not an invitation: a shopfront, a mailing list, a redirect, or a page whose purpose is to collect personal information for some other use.
- Attempts to break, overload or probe the platform, or to reach data belonging to another customer.
6. We may decline, and approval is not endorsement
Every publish request is reviewed by a person before it goes live. That review confirms one thing: that the payment we were told about arrived. It is not an editorial check, not proof-reading, and not our agreement with anything the invitation says. Spelling, dates and venue addresses are yours to get right.
We may decline to publish, or take down an invitation that is already live, if it breaks section 5 or if we cannot confirm the payment. If we decline, we tell you why and you may correct it and re-submit. If we take something down after you have paid, the refund policy says what happens to the money.
7. What happens when the term ends
We email you before your invitation's time runs out. When it does, the invitation goes offline: the link stops showing it to guests, and anyone opening it is told it has ended.
- Nothing is deleted at expiry. Your design and every RSVP and blessing are kept.
- You can renew at any time and the same link comes back with the same design and the same responses. A renewal buys months; it is not a second purchase of the invitation, so it costs less.
- You can ask us to delete it instead — see data deletion.
8. What we promise about availability
We run this carefully, and we do not promise perfection. We do not offer an uptime guarantee. Planned work is done at quiet hours where we can. If your invitation is unreachable for a meaningful stretch of its term because of something on our side, tell us and we will extend the term to make up the time.
Our responsibility to you is limited to what you paid us for the invitation in question. We are not liable for anything that follows indirectly — guests who did not see a message, a caterer's numbers, or the cost of an event. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.
9. Ending this agreement
You may stop using Amantrit at any time, and you may have your invitation taken down and your data deleted on request. We may suspend or end an account that breaks section 5, that is used to attack the platform, or where a payment turns out not to have been made. Where the breach is minor and fixable we will ask you to fix it first.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and the version in force for your invitation is the one published when you paid for it.
