Refunds

Refunds & cancellation

Payments here are checked by a person, so refunds are handled by a person too. This page says what happens in each of the four situations customers actually find themselves in.

The short version

  • Not published yet? Full refund, no questions asked.
  • Paid twice? The duplicate comes back in full.
  • Payment rejected? Nothing was taken by us — and if money did leave your account, it comes back.
  • Already live? The invitation has been delivered, so it is not refundable — except where we got something wrong.

You can build any design completely free, with your own names and photographs, and open a full working demo of every template before you pay. That is why the last line is fair: nothing about what you are buying is a surprise at the moment you buy it.

If your payment proof is rejected

A rejection means we could not match your payment, not that we have kept your money. You are told the reason and your request stays open so you can correct it and send again — the usual causes are on the delivery page.

  • If the money never left your account (a failed or reversed UPI transaction), there is nothing for us to refund. Your bank returns it, normally within a few hours and at most a few working days.
  • If the money did reach us but could not be matched — a missing reference, a mistyped amount — we find it and either publish your invitation or return it in full. Send us the UTR; that is what lets us search.
  • If you decide not to continue after a rejection, say so and any money we hold is returned in full.

If you paid twice, or paid too much

It happens — a UPI app shows a failure, you pay again, and both go through. Tell us and send both UTRs.

  • A duplicate payment is returned in full. We do not apply it as credit unless you ask us to.
  • An overpayment — you sent more than the amount due — is returned in full, or applied to extra months if you prefer. Your choice, not ours.
  • An underpayment is not a refund situation: pay the difference with the same reference and we will publish.

We check for duplicates when approving, and we will normally spot it before you do. If we find one we tell you rather than keeping it.

If you change your mind before it is live

Full refund. Any time between paying and your invitation going live, ask us to cancel and you get everything back. You do not have to give a reason.

Every payment is checked by a person, and we confirm as soon as we have seen it. So if you want to cancel, do it promptly — once the invitation is live the section below applies instead.

If you change your mind after it is live

Once your invitation is published, what you bought has been delivered: it is at its link, your guests can open it, and it is counting down the months you paid for. That payment is not refundable.

Three exceptions, and we apply them without argument:

  • We published something wrong. If what went live is not what you approved, we fix it immediately. If it cannot be fixed in time for your event, you get a full refund.
  • It was unreachable for a meaningful stretch of your term because of a fault on our side. We extend the term to cover it, or refund in proportion if an extension is no use to you — for instance because the event has passed.
  • We took it down. If we remove an invitation for a reason that was not your doing, the unused part of the term is refunded.

An invitation that is live can be taken offline whenever you want — ask, or request deletion. Taking it down early does not create a refund.

Renewals

A renewal is refundable on the same terms: in full before we approve it, and not afterwards, since the extra months begin at once. If you renew by mistake, tell us before it is approved and nothing is taken.

How a refund is actually made

  • Ask us — email or WhatsApp, with your payment reference and the UTR of the payment concerned.
  • We confirm what we are returning and to which UPI ID or bank account, which must be the one the money came from.
  • We send it back as a UPI transfer or bank transfer. There is no card to reverse it to — the money arrived as a transfer and it goes back the same way.
  • Timing: we start a refund within 3 working days of agreeing it, and your bank usually posts it within a further 2–3 working days.

Nothing is deducted. The amount agreed is the amount sent — no processing fee, no cancellation charge.

Disputes

Talk to us first. We have never had a dispute we could not settle by looking at the UTR together, and raising it with your bank before speaking to us only makes it slower for you. If we genuinely disagree, the terms of service set out how that is resolved.
